Trickshot Duo

As the year comes to a close, we reflect on all the things we are going to miss about garde 10 and all the things we disliked. As I reflect on this year, I can't reflect without thinking about this 20 time project which has consumed my ELA time and has thought me some very valuable lessons. Some of them being: Dedication patience work ethic and much more  Nathan and I have started to reflect on all of our accomplishments in this 20 time project and we are putting it all together in a video for our TEDTalk. we filmed 3 epic trickshots with awesome celebrations.  We Overcame some of our difficulties that we had in the past, it took us less tries to make the trickshots and we found some good places to place our iPad and phones.

Well, it’s been about 2 months into our 20 Time Project and I’d say Nathan and I have accomplished a lot. We have uploaded about 10 videos and have been getting good feed back. We average about 100 views per video and have 64 followers. One of the difficultys we have been having is trying to expose our videos for More people to see. We have tried promoting it on our personal Instagram pages and have gained most of our follower that way. We have been trying our hardest to take the road less traveled by, but it’s hard. Trying to come up with video ideas that are both creative and we are capable of doing isn’t easy so, in some of our videos we had to take the road most travelled by.

Today, was a productive day, we met our goal of 4 trickshots. Then, Nathan and I started trying to think of ideas for our Ted talks. We came up with 2 ideas so far. 1. Make a new video just for the ted talk. 2. Talk the whole time about what we learned Then we did some floor ball trickshots. These trickshots were not easy, it took us a while to get our first one. We learnt that we should start with easy shots and then move on to harder ones. Coming up with creative trickshots has been a challenge for us since the beginning. We have been trying to come up with cool and fun to watch trickshots but the more creative we get the harder the trickshots become. Most of our best trickshots have been on our first tries. We hope to overcome these difficulties in our future videos

Welcome to a world of sorrow staring Trickshotduo. doing trickshots are not as easy as they seem, people think that what we do is stupid but it takes dedication to be in the trickshot work force. We worked extremely hard to get 3 trickshots filmed for this video. we really hepe our viewers enjoy our video. today we accomplished a lot. Nathan and I filmed a whole video on floor ball trickshots. . Since the last video we haven’t gained followers but we did get 2 new followers.

Today wasn’t a very productive day because I was away at a Canoeing trip, but Nathan managed to start recording our next video. Nathan recorded about 3 trickshots. He did most of it alone but he did get some help from Cameron and Zach. He did a very good job with managing his time and filming as much as possible. we are very close in finishing the video. We gained 4 new followers on our Instagram page. Our new video on floorball trickshots will be up soon.

For our third Video Nathan and I decided to do football trickshots. This turned out to be a pretty good idea because most of the video was made in one day. this video was short but sweet. We wanted to try something different in this video so we decided to do a mini drill in the beginning of the video which worked out quite well. For most of the video we didn't come up with much difficulties, but one of the probblems we came across constantly was trying to hold the cameras in place and find good spots to put the camera. it would have helped us a lot if we had a third person to hold the camera so we could do more 2 man trickshots. I learnt that I do much better at trickshots when the camera is off rather then it being on. we have not come up a decision for our next video but we might try floor ball trickshots.

We had a very hard working day. Nathan and I finnished our basketball trickshot videos. We tried to incorporate many ideas, like at the end of the trickshots we played a game. We currently have 62 followers on Instagram and over 300 views on all our videos in total. Update: We have uploaded our video to Instagram @trickshotduo2018. Today for our 20 time project Nathan and I statred to plan for our TrickshotDuo show. After we finished planing for our show, we filmed Basketball Trickshots. Our first shot we filmed took us a long time even though it wasn’t supposed to be that difficult. It was a trickshot that needed both of us to drain a shot from the three-point line but luck was not on our side. When one guy made the shot, the other one didn’t but we just had to fight through that and we ended up getting it. That’s another way that we are learning through this endeavour. The amount of patience that we needed to stick through some of the shots was trying. We posted some pictures of us doing some trickshots on our Instagram.

Our full soccer trickshots video will be up on our Instagram page @trickshotduo on Friday. We have made a series of clips and put them together in a montage. This video was a sort of a challenge, it sometimes took us a while to make a trickshot and other times it only took us 2 minutes for one trickshot. We are trying our hardest to make creative and fun trickshots for people to watch. We have uploaded a total of 3 videos on our Instagram page. We currently have 39 followers, and 300 views in total, about 50 likes in total, and average 1 comment per video. This video has taken us about 1 week to make and will soon start working on our new video. We have yet to talk about what our new video will be about, but I think it might be basketball.

      Our official page on Instagram has been started and we hope to be posting clips and full videos soon. We haven’t quite started trying out our shots but the ideas are starting to come to us. The creativity part of making the trickshot might even be more difficult than the actual execution of the shot. We were thinking about adding another person in with us as an extra hand to hold a camera or shot with us but decided otherwise. If you would like to watch our videos, follow our Instagram account.
